Playtech Reports Strong First Half

News markets have boosted Playtech’s first half results. Regulatory changes across Europe, and the launch of new networks, as well as the rise of almost a third in revenues from its joint venture with William Hill have Playtech sitting pretty. At the end of the month, going live will be a complementary flash-based casino product to Betfair from Playtech. Could this be a sign to expect even more in the next half?

The British Columbia Lottery Corporation’s online gambling site, PlayNow.com, will remain offline until an investigation is conducted.  British Columbia’s Information and Privacy Commissioner will review the final report and decide if the site is ready to go online again.
